
Rules:
The organizer provides cell phones that are used in Cell Phone Throwing Contest or you can bring your own phone. There are all kinds of brands and models to choose from. Every contestant can choose the best fitting phone for him/her.
During the throw the competitor must stay within the throwing area. If the thrower steps over the area, the thrower will be disqualified. The phone must land within the marked throwing section.
Cell phones can not be altered. Battery must be attached. No weight can be added or subtracted.
The thrower must not cross the marked line where the measurement starts while throwing his/her phone.
The thrower must use only there hands to throw the phone.
There will be boundaries. You can not throw the phone outside the lines.
For each person that throws a cell
phone five ($5) dollars per each entry will be asked for donation.
Donations go to "SHRINERS HOSPITAL OF SPRINGFIELD".
For every $5.00 donated a $5.00 gift certificate
will be given to the contestant to be used at Family Wireless.
You may compete and not donate the $5.00 or hand in an unused cell phones for any of the championships and have your name listed as the winner of that contest in the CELLPHONETHROW.COM web site and WIKIPEDIA. However, you will not be eligible for the prizes that will be given away for that event. Family Wireless judges have a final say on all matters and can not be contested.
All measurements will be to the whole inch. Phones will be measured where the phone lands.
There will be no doping tests or breathalyzer tests. However the judges can rule out the contestant if his/her mental or physical preparedness is not adequate for full performance. Contestants can also be excluded from the Contest if he/she is considered to be a danger for himself/herself, to other contestants or to the public.
The official judges of the competition will accept or disqualify the throw. The judges decisions cannot be protested.

the style and aesthetics will be judged
the overall appearance is crucial. If you dress like a clown you will get extra points.
The more bizarre you dress and act the more points you can earn.

contest that has an over the shoulder throw.
